In the hilly vineyards in the sunny land in a vast area of the province of Cuneo, including the administrative territory of 94 municipalities well, they produce different types of wine together under the single designation of origin “Langhe”. That name without other additional specification is reserved for wines: Red and White. The name “Langhe” followed by the specification Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, Freisa, Arneis, Favorita and Chardonnay is reserved for wines made from grapes from vineyards made exclusively from the corresponding varieties. Langhe Nebbiolo can be served at 18-20 °, paired with white meats and medium aged cheeses and hard cheese, soups and light meats, while for the Langhe Arneis is the recommended serving temperature at 18-20 °, in combination with soft cheese, language, rice salad, the favorite, served at 16 °, combine seafood appetizers, soft cheeses, light soups, fish, zucchini, for the Chardonnay, served at 18-20 °, pull over light hors d’oeuvres, soft cheese, minestrone.

History Another variety (after Nebbiolo, Arneis and Barbera), which has deep roots in the economy of the Roero Favorita, named for the first time in Vezza in 1676 in a document of accounts Roero. This vine closely related to the Ligurian Vermentino, who arrived in Roero through trade, but here the influence of climate and land cos still pi strong that the wine is very different with a more pronounced sour vein.
