For a long time the most interesting white from Piedmont, Gavi is obtained vinifying the only grape Cortese grapes grown in the area since at least 1600, a period which also date from the first news about this wine. The grapes, characterized by high acidity even in the growing stage, located in the climate of the place, not continental, optimum conditions giving the finished product freshness and aromatic complexity.
